As decaying creatures obsessed with youth, humans are in a constant state of contradiction: when young we are pressured to mature, when old we are mocked for rose-tinted idealization of our own childhoods.
We are in a constant battle against time; racing it or resisting it. The youthful shamelessness we admire alludes us when grown, perhaps out of fear rather than a death of innocence.
This fearless audacity we should all embrace; a celebration of the inner child.
